VPS Makes A Difference
We all have things we no longer use, why not help someone who has nothing?
VPS is proud to announce that we are working in partnership with The Single Homeless Project under the name VPS Makes a Difference.
The Single Homeless Project work tirelessly across London to prevent homelessness and help vulnerable and socially excluded people to transform their lives.
To maximise our contribution we are organising a donation drive over the next few weeks. We are reaching out to all our guardians, staff and contractors to collect coats, warm clothes, toiletries and other items that will help make their centre visitors more comfortable this winter. See below the list of products which can make a big difference to these people.

Every little thing helps, you can bring anything you can miss over to our office on 89 -93 Fonthill Rd in Finsbury Park, London. If you can’t bring it to us we are also available to come to you. Just send us a description of your donation to [email protected] and we will contact you.
VPS and SHP thank you in advance and any help or donations are greatly appreciated!
Other great ways you can contribute this year!
- Volunteering
Looking for a way you can do volunteering this Christmas? What about helping The Single Homeless Project. See for more information: https://www.shp.org.uk/volunteering-christmas
- Christmas
Have you send out your Christmas cards already? The Single Homeless Project sells cards and the merits go to the foundation. You can order the Christmas cards via this link: https://www.shp.org.uk/pages/shop/department/christmas#top
- Christmas Party
Our services in the community work with vulnerable and socially excluded individuals for whom Christmas can be an isolating and depressing time of year. Christmas parties bring people together to celebrate the festive season.
Redbridge and Newham Borough’s community support team are looking for a company to sponsor a party for 30-50 clients for 2 hours, they need support with money to pay for a venue, we often get these free or at a very cheap charity rate, food and refreshments (no alcohol) and entertainment.
Do you want to help? You can do this in two different ways :
1. Donate money and the service will organise
2. Donate money and time – be involved with organising and volunteer on the day
